About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, with a private practice in Sarasota, FL.I am also a Qualified Supervisor and provide clinical supervision for Mental Health Counselors and Clinical Social Workers working towards licensure in Florida.I have over 40 years experience as a Clinical Social Worker and am a graduate of Norfolk State University (Social Work) and The University of Sarasota (Counseling Psychology).  I specialize in the treatment of mental health, addictions, and problems in daily living. I also provide assistance with Social Security Disability eligibility and accept Assignment from Medicare (meaning, I bill Medicare for you).  I treat adults from 18 to old age.  I am currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are mental health problems, such as depression and anxiety and addiction problems, such as alcohol and drug problems. I also provide Information & Referral Services, as well as Court Ordered Assessments and Court Testimony. ©

I was previously a member of the adjunct faculty of Argosy University and helped train Masters and Doctoral level Mental Health Counseling students through a broad spectrum of graduate level counseling courses.
